Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC’s presidential candidate, pledged to free Nigeria from the chains of poverty and squalor.
At the inauguration of the Tinubu-Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team on Monday at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, Tinubu made the commitment.
The emblem on his headgear, according to the former governor of Lagos, indicates “broken shackle.”
“This cap features a broken shackle as its design. We are removing the chains of need and squalor. It was a party that took over a troubled country that was weighed down by uncertainty eight years ago.
“We took over the worst crude oil pricing, but the highly focused and dedicated individual (Buhari) was able to bail out 36 states of our country that were unable to pay their employees’ salaries,” he continued.
In addition, Tinubu declared that the Peoples Democratic Party would never again hold power.
Abusive language is not the foundation of a nation… PDP will never return after spending the last 16 years without direction and abandoning the sheep. Never once more
“Our opponents spent 16 years opposing us, but they failed to remember that a roadway is an economy and that industry requires power. They are ignorant of the need of maintaining the transmission cables.
“They were unable to put down a deposit on the train track. They are a termite political party, he declared.
Tinubu claimed that because he is a builder, he will know what to do right away if he wins in 2023.
He exhorted his fans to spread the word that he is a wise man.
