After reports that Eric Holder was attacked in his cell, a new photo has been posted online of Nipsey Hussle’s murder suspect Eric Holder.
This week, Eric Holder was allegedly attacked by two L.A. County inmates as he was on his way to court.
According to the Los Angeles Times Aaron Jansen, Holder’s attorney stated that Holder was beat unconscious and needed three staples to close a wound at the back of his head.
Jansen said Holder was jumped in his holding cell right before his Tuesday court appearance. One of the inmates then slashed Holder with a razor.
Jansen released a photo of Holder’s injuries. It began making the rounds Friday afternoon.
Holder is seen in the photo with severe bruising on his face and a dark eye. Jansen spoke to KTLA and stated that Holder had been subjected to specific steps by the judge, which has assured him of Holder’s safety going forward.
Eric Holder was convicted of the murder of Nipsey Hussle in March 2019. Jansen acknowledged that his client killed the Los Angeles rapper in his opening statement, but argued that his client should have been convicted of manslaughter rather than murder. This could lead to a life sentence.
