The Labour Party’s nominee, Peter Obi, cannot become president of Nigeria in 2023, according to Prince Ned Nwoko, a rich businessman and politician married to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
Ned Nwoko asserted that Peter Obi is a decent man and an economic strategist with the potential to hold a prominent position in the government in an interview with the BBC.
He continued by saying that even though he had strong support from the youth, the Labour Party lacks the necessary organizational capabilities to control Nigeria.
He declared that Peter Obi shouldn’t have left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and expressed the desire for him to rejoin the organization. Ned, who characterized Obi as a capitalist, asserted that if given any economic ministry, he will succeed.
He continued by stating that Nigeria’s population is growing and that the Labour Party is unable to resolve the nation’s problems.
The attorney also commended his party for holding a clean primary election and asserted that Atiku Abubakar is one of the most qualified people to lead Nigeria.
Finally, he urged Nigerians to focus on choosing the proper candidate to fix the country rather than letting ethnicity or religion affect their choice of candidates.
